Do


  • Please take your dog to the toilet before their appointment (There could be an extra charge if they wee or poo on the table after washing and we have to re-wash the dog)

  • Please turn up to your dogs appointment on time

  • Please make sure their collar/harness fits so they cant escape and run off

  • Please bring your dog in a collar/harness and keep them on it at all times, we are near a busy country road and we do not want any accidents

  • Please make sure you keep the dogs on the lead and hand us the lead so we can guide them into the salon.

  • Please be truthful to us about your dogs behaviour and coat condition

  • If its your first time here with us make sure you have some idea of what style you would like. Short, long? maybe have a picture with you?

  • When choosing picture off google make sure the picture of the style you have chosen looks similar, same breed and has a similar hair type to your dog.

  • If you turn up early to pick your dog up please wait in your car until we wave you in. (if your dog smells or hears you while we are grooming they probably wont stay still enough for us to finish grooming, therefore we will have to stop the groom for safety reasons and you will be handed back an unfinished groomed dog, and still have to pay full price for it)

  • Alternately wait for the text and promptly pick your dog up once you have received the message.(if you are more than 20 minutes from the time we texted this could be an extra charge as we have limited space and we are not a doggy day care)

  • Please check to make sure your dog doesn’t have fleas. (you will be charged a flea charge if they come in and they have fleas)

  • Please tell us exactly what style you want so we can get it right for you

  • Please check if your dog is matted before you come in. we don’t want any surprises if the dog has to be shaved

  • Be realistic about your dogs groom if your dog is matted, aggressive or too old.

  • Please give us plenty of time to schedule a groom. At least a week or 2 for a week day and a month for a weekend appointment

Don’t


  • Turn up too early or too late to your appointment ( we work on a strict schedule if your early we might still be grooming a dog if your late it will make us late for the dog after yours)

  • Where possible please do not bombard us with calls and texts asking if your dog is done. We are busy grooming your dog and cant answer the phone, we will text you when your dog is done.

  • Please do not ask us to feed your dog breakfast/lunch/dinner. We are dog groomers not dog sitters

  • Please do not cancel your appointment on the day your dog is scheduled to come in. ( you will have to pay full price of the groom before rebooking your next appointment)

  • At drop off please do not make a massive deal to the dog about leaving. Your unintentionally worrying your dog before the groom has even started. Just be calm.

  • Please do not ask us to take the dog back in to adjust something when you didn’t tell us that’s what you wanted.

  • Don’t trim your dog at home, please leave it to a professional. If you have and we have to fix it there may be an extra charge as it take longer to even out.

  • Please don’t allow your dog to jump up the shelves, walls and counter in the reception area
